Drying watermelon
Is it possible to dry the pulp of a watermelon? Of course yes! And the infrared drying oven will perfectly cope with this task, leaving in our product a maximum of useful substances, a wonderful appearance, a pronounced taste and a persistent alluring flovor. Usually the product is dried to an elastic state, but to extend the shelf life, we can bring the slices to the state of chips.
To get the best possible result, it is important to choose a tasty, ripe berry, thin-skinned, without rot and damage. We cut the berry into slices of 5-8 mm, put it in one layer on a tray and send it to the chamber of an infrared drying oven.
Ready-made watermelon slices retain the maximum amount of vitamins A, B, C, D, useful substances: sodium, magnesium, zinc.
Dried watermelon slices are well used in cooking, and are also great as an addition to a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
The output of the finished product is 12-13%
